STP 28 Oct 2006 Boogie PREVIEW pics...

Hi- this is going to have to be quick for now since I am running on battery power and I left my power adapter at the DZ... :-(

Anyway, here is a preview of (most of) the pics that were taken on Saturday night- I haven't downloaded the few that I took on Sunday yet. Also, because of this, the images are right out of the camera without any photoshopping or tweaking, which will make them look a lot better (when I get my power adapter back or get a new one). I will fix this as soon as I can. As always, the pictures will look best on a Mac running Safari or Internet Explorer. This is not due to platform partisanship on my part, but rather, no browser on Windows (and not Firefox on the Mac either) supports embedded ICC profiles in the images. This means that what you see on your screen (unless you're looking at it in Safari or IE Mac) is not representative of the true colors that are in the images, and basically, it means it won't look as good. I will someday have a webpage explaining this. Of course, Windows Vista/Longhorn will fix this and Microsoft may beat me to the punch at the rate I'm going...

These are all at 1024 pixels across (I know, this biases the portrait shots over the landscape ones...), which is fine for the computer screen, but not really enough resolution for making (decent) prints with. I will put full resolution pics up when I get a chance. If you are on this page and don't want to be here for whatever reason, e-mail me at troye.welch@gmail.com and I will take you off. Also, this page is not linked to from any other page. I would ask the web/pagemasters out there to not link to this page. Send the link via e-mail if you want to share it... This keeps this page off the search engines and keeps it a bit more private/secret. All images are for personal, non-commercial use. -Troye

ThatThat's it for now. Check back in about a week and I should have the optimized pics up along with originals (and a zip of all the originals for your convenience)
